One trail – three restaurants. On the culinary trail “Forest & Water”, you will get to know not only the scenic but also the local culinary attractions. You start in Flims Waldhaus, where you relish the first course at the Bistro Kaufmannfrauen. Past Lake Cauma and along the Rhine Gorge, you reach Conn, where the main course awaits you. After a short detour to the “Il Spir” viewpoint, you will reach the restaurant of Lake Cresta for dessert before heading back to Flims via the impressive Felsbach Gorge.

Lake Cauma

«Lag la Cauma» in Romansh, which also means «Lake of siesta», Lake Cauma is considered as the pearl of Flims. Swimming, chill out and sunbathing: Whether you are active on foot or by bike, a detour to the beautiful lake is the perfect way to round off your excursion. Lake Cauma is located in the heart of Flims forest and impresses above all with its striking turquoise-green and pleasantly cool water. In summer, the water temperature is between 17 and 24 degrees Celsius. Swimming in Lake Cauma simply belongs on every summer bucket list for holidays in the area!

Hike Versam - Valendas

The tour starts at Versam station, in the heart of the impressive natural monument: Rhine Gorge. Always close to the Rhine and with a view of the fascinating rock faces and rock formations, you follow the trail through the gorge towards Valendas. The path offers variety and runs through forests and glades, with beautiful views of the gorge and the surrounding mountain scenery. Sometimes up, sometimes down, sometimes as a wide path, sometimes as a narrow trail. This hike is considered easy and suitable for families. In between, you will see the Rhaetian Railway pass by on its route through the “Swiss Grand Canyon” and in summer, kayaks and rafts can often be discovered on the river.
