In the Rhine Gorge your train ride becomes an adventure, only on foot you will be closer to the white water of the Rhine. We suggest to park your car either in Reichenau-Tamins or Ilanz. The Rhaetian Railway operates hourly between Reichenau-Tamins and Ilanz.

Arrival with public transport

Thanks to the Rhaetian Railway, the PostBus and the Ruinaulta bus, the region is easily accessible. The RhB even operates hourly through the Rhine Gorge and during weekends you can experience the route in an open dome car.

Arrival by car

Guests who prefer to arrive by car are kindly asked to use the signposted parking facilities. The few parking lots at the stations Versam and Valendas are highly demanded during weekends and holidays. Therefore, we recommend you to take the unique journey through the Swiss Grand Canyon with the train or by bus to reach your starting point.

Tamins Farsch, 10-minute walk (approx. 600 meters) to the station with view on the junction of Hinter- and Vorder Rhine.
